5 Men Who Knew How To Make Money Investing

If you want to learn how to make money investing, then you need to look to the masters of investing. There are quite a few people that have proven that it is possible to build wealth investing in different asset classes. Some would say that these people were just in the right place at the right time. I would argue that it was hard work, consistency, and a dedication to their craft that helped to build their fortunes. Let’s take a look at the 5 men that knew how to make money investing.

Make Money Investing Like The Pros

#5. George Soros

Soros is famously known as the “Man Who Broker The Bank Of England”. Soros made $1 billion dollars of his $14 billion dollar fortune by betting against the British pound. Soros invests in just about every asset class that exists including stocks, bonds, Treasuries, commodities, and currencies. Soros has built a reputation as a bit of a gambler and will often take large positions long or short an individual security.

#4 Donald Trump

I don’t often discuss real estate investing but this investment arena starts and stops with the Donald. Ted Turner may own more real estate but Trump has given commercial real estate investing its cache. Trump has made a living off of getting buyers to pony up millions of dollars just to be a part of his Trump brand. Trump has an estimated net worth of $2 to billion dollars.

#3 Stephen Schwarzman

You may be wondering who this is. Stephen Schwarzman is primarily famous for being one of the founders of the Blackstone Group The Blackstone Group is one of the largest companies when it comes to brokering private equity transactions. Schwarzman has handled billions of dollars in leveraged buyouts and investment banking. He has a net worth of almost $8 billion dollars.

#2 Peter Lynch

Peter Lynch is famous for his world famous management of Fidelity Magellan Funds. Lynch managed a phenomenal return of nearly 30% over a 14 year period at Fidelity. He also run one of the best investing books of all time for growth investors called One Up On Wall Street. That is still one of my favorite books on investing.

#1 Warren Buffett

Number one on the list is Warren Buffett. Buffett’s investment return and investment strategy have become the stuff of legends. There are numbers of books written about Buffett and the process that he goes through to select an investment. This site was even started because of the investing prowess of the Oracle of Omaha. Longtime investors in Berkshire Hathaway have seen their meager investments grow to millions of dollars, thanks to Buffett. He truly is the world’s greatest investor.
